Capacity Note: This application has a total dry transmission fluid fill capacity of around 7 liters. However, due to the transmission design, only about 3 liters will drain from the transmission when removing the transmission pan and changing the transmission filter. Around 4 liters will remain in the transmission torque converter and other related transmission components, which can be difficult to service. Our current understanding is that a reasonable way to flush the remaining old fluid out of the torque converter is by performing multiple fluid changes in short succession. If you use this method to perform a thorough ATF fluid flush strategy, we recommend adding an extra 3-4 liters of Eurol 7400 ATF to your cart for each flush you plan to complete (see Related Products for extra ATF and Related Helpful Info for capacity notes).

• 4 liters of Eurol fully synthetic ATF developed and engineered for the VW Tiguan 8-speed 09P Tiptronic transmission. Meets or exceeds the recommended VW G 055 540 A2 transmission fluid type specification. Adequate quantity of fluid for a filter and fluid change. Red-tinted ATF color. • 1 automatic transmission filter
• 1 automatic transmission filter to valve body O-ring
• 1 automatic transmission pan gasket
• 1 set of transmission fluid pan gasket spacer inserts
• 1 transmission fill and drain plug sealing crush washer

Special Tool Notes: This kit DOES NOT include special transmission fluid filling tools. Filling the transmission with new fluid is done from the transmission pan fill port on the bottom side of the transmission. This requires a pump and adapter to bottom-fill the transmission. We have two tool options for you. One is a cost-effective fluid pump and adapter tool kit part number J91003-1 (sold separately).
