Oil Change Kit Options: We offer two different motor oil options for our 1.8T oil change kits. The 5w40 kit offers the high end Group 4 fully synthetic RAVENOL VMO with an OEM approval for the VW 502 00 motor oil quality standard as required for the 1.8T engines. The 5w30 kit offers a high quality yet economical RAVENOL HPS semi-synthetic for the more cost conscious individual, while yet maintaining VW 502 00 oil specification as required for the 1.8T engine. Both motor oils meet extended oil change intervals according to manufacturer's recommendations.

Fitment Note: 2000 AEB engine code Passat's came with two different oil pan drain plugs. The early Vin > up to 275000 came with a 26mm drain plug and the late Vin starting with 275001 is a 14mm. Please confirm drain plug size before ordering.
