What is the Best VW Oil Change Interval? Our Blauparts oil change kits are designed for the factory recommended VW oil change intervals. However depending on rough driving conditions or spirited driving styles Blauparts recommends an earlier oil change intervals or every 6 months whichever occurs first. Changing your VW oil is good preventative maintenance in an effort to minimize long term engine repair costs.
What Oil Type Should I Use? We suggest always using oils that specifically indicate an Audi/VW oil quality specification on the bottle (Example: VW 504 00/507 00). These oils have been created with your vehicles engine design and style in mind. By using approved specification oil you will greatly improve your vehicles mechanical longevity and performance. Many engines that use generic style engine oils will most likely have premature mechanical problems later in mileage (Example: premature oil consumption, worn engine internals, blown and worn turbochargers, prematurely plugged cranks ventilation and pcv systems, plugged diesel particulate filters and catalytic converters).
