This is an alternative design to the original cap and allows you more grip points when using your fingers to spin the oil cap more easily for removal and installation.
Alternate design - engine oil filler cap for select Toyota models (see vehicle fitment tab). This is the oil cap that is located on the top of the engine valve cover. The cap is removed to fill the engine with oil by unscrewing the threaded cap and then reinserting it when done filling. This is an alternative design to the original oil fill cap and allows for more finger grip area when using your fingers to spin the cap more easily for removal and installation.
