This is an automotive grade universal high-temperature silicone based gasket making compound with working temperatures up to 500°F. Excellent sealing resistance to fluids and lubricants such as mineral oils and multiple synthetic oils, gasoline, diesel fuels, greases, hot and cold water, detergents, sunlight, ozone, and saltwater exposed areas. It is a fast, acid-free curing, and odorless gasket compound. It is also noted to not harm oxygen sensors.
Also suitable as an alternative gasket-making compound for much more expensive genuine BMW, Porsche, Mercedes, and Mazda gasket making compounds.
