Important Fitment Note: The 2007-2012 Ram 3500 models were optioned with 2 automatic transmission types. This year range and model could have either a 6-speed AS68RC or 6-speed 68RFE automatic transmission. Therefore, it is crucial to determine which transmission type your vehicle is equipped with before ordering. This kit DOES NOT fit the 6-speed 68RFE automatic transmission. However, to confirm an AS68RC transmission and this kit fitment, count and confirm 18 transmission pan mounting bolts on your truck.

Fluid Capacity Note: This application has a total dry transmission fluid fill capacity of 13.7 quarts or 13 liters. However, due to the transmission design, only about 8.5 - 9.4 liters will drain from the transmission when removing the transmission pan and changing the transmission filter. Around 3.5 - 4.5 liters will remain in the transmission torque converter and other related transmission components, which can be difficult to service. Our current understanding is that a reasonable way to flush the remaining old fluid out of the torque converter is by performing multiple fluid changes in short succession or other transmission cooler flush techniques. If you use these methods to perform a thorough ATF fluid flush strategy, we recommend adding an extra 3.0 - 5.0 liters of Eurol 1100 ATF to your cart for each flush you plan to complete (see Related Products for extra ATF and Related Helpful Info for capacity notes).

Instruction Note: Currently, this transmission fluid change kit does NOT include installation instructions. Certified Ram truck technicians installing this kit need to refer to their factory service manuals for proper installation instructions and procedures.
