Important Fitment Note: The 2013-2018 Ram 1500 models were optioned with two automatic transmission speed types. This year range and model could have either a 6-speed or 8-speed automatic transmission. Therefore, it is crucial to determine which transmission speed type your vehicle is equipped with before ordering. This kit does NOT fit the 6-speed automatic transmission. You will need to confirm whether your model is a 2013-2018 Ram 1500 5.7L V8 with 8-speed automatic transmission, a 2014-2018 Ram 1500 3.6L V6 with 8-speed automatic transmission, or a 2014-2018 Ram 1500 3.0L V6 with 8-speed automatic transmission. 2019-2024 model year Ram 1500 5.7L, 3.6L, and 3.0L owners should not have to confirm exact transmission information since all were equipped with 8-speed automatic transmissions.

Capacity Note: This application has a total dry transmission fluid fill capacity of between 8.3 and 8.5 liters. However, due to the transmission design, only about 5.5 liters will drain from the transmission when removing the transmission pan and changing the transmission filter. Around 2.8 - 3.0 liters will remain in the transmission torque converter and other related transmission components, which can be difficult to service. Our current understanding is that a reasonable way to flush the remaining old fluid out of the torque converter is by performing multiple fluid changes in short succession. Suppose you choose to perform a thorough ATF fluid flush strategy. In that case, we recommend adding an extra 5.0 liters of Eurol 6700 ATF to your cart for each flush you plan to complete (see Related Products for extra ATF and Related Helpful Info Tab for capacity notes).
