Ram 1500 Transmission Fluid Change Kit - 2013-24 - 8 Spd - Ravenol

Fitment Note: The 2013-2018 Ram 1500 models were optioned with two automatic transmission types. These models could have a 6-speed or 8-speed automatic transmission. This kit does not fit the 6-speed automatic transmission. Confirm your model is a 2013-2018 Ram 1500 5.7L V8 with 8-speed automatic transmission, 2014-2018 Ram 1500 3.6L V6 with 8-speed automatic transmission, or 2014-2018 Ram 1500 3.0L V6 with 8-speed automatic transmission before ordering. 2019-2024 Ram 1500 5.7L, 3.6L, and 3.0L model owners should not have to confirm exact transmission information as all were optioned as an 8-speed automatic transmission.

Capacity Note: The total dry transmission fluid fill capacity is between 8.3 and 8.5 liters for this application. However, due to the transmission design, only about 5.5 liters will drain from the transmission when removing the transmission pan and changing the transmission filter. Around 2.8 - 3.0 liters will be remaining in the transmission torque converter and other related transmission components which can be difficult to service. Our current understanding is that a reasonable way to flush the remaining old fluid out of the torque converter is by performing multiple fluid changes in short succession. If you desire to perform a thorough ATF fluid flush strategy, we recommend adding an extra 5.0 liters of RAVENOL 8HP ATF to your cart for each additional flush you plan to perform (See Related Items for extra ATF and Related Helpful Info for capacity notes.).
