What is the Best Gasoline Engine Mercedes Oil Change Interval? Our Blauparts oil change kits are designed for the factory recommended Mercedes gasoline engine oil change intervals of up to 10,000-13,000 miles or 1 year, whichever occurs first. However depending on your driving style and conditions Blauparts recommends an earlier oil change interval such a 5,000-8,000 miles or once a year, whichever occurs first. An earlier Mercedes oil change interval is good preventative maintenance in an effort to minimize long term engine repair costs.
What Mercedes Engine Oil Type Should I Use In My Engine? We suggest always using oils that specifically indicate a Mercedes oil quality specification on the bottle (Example: MB 229.5). MB 229.5 oils have been created with your vehicles engine design and style in mind.
