Mazda 3 Transmission Fluid Change Kit - 2012-24 - 6 Spd - Eurol

Vehicle Fitment and Installation Note: All Mazda Skyactiv 6-speed transmissions from the factory use an automotive grade RTV gasket sealing material (part number 0000771217ES) as the transmission pan gasket in place of a typical fiber or rubber gasket. In instances where your vehicle's transmission pans profile matches the EPDM rubber gasket supplied in this kit you can opt to use it if desired. Otherwise, replicate the original OEM method by making a gasket bead around the parameter of the pan using the provided improved automotive grade RTV gasket sealing material we supply in this kit.

Skyactiv 6 Speed ATF Capacity Note: The total dry capacity of the transmission is 7.7 - 8.0 liters for this application. However, due to the transmission design, only about 4.5 liters will drain from the transmission when removing the transmission pan and changing the transmission filter. Around 3.5 liters will remain in the transmission torque converter and other related transmission components, which can be challenging to service. Our current understanding is that a reasonable way to flush the remaining old fluid out of the torque converter is by performing multiple fluid changes in short succession. If you desire to perform a thorough ATF fluid flush strategy, we recommend adding an extra 3.5 to 4 liters of Eurol ATF 6700 to your cart for each additional flush you plan to perform (see Related Products below).
