    Important Rear Differential Fitment Note. The Ford F-250 was optioned with two rear differential types and will require two different rear differential gear oils. How to confirm your rear differential type. The easiest way to confirm your differential type is to contact your dealer with the VIN number. As an alternative typically all trucks optioned with a 10.5-inch Sterling rear differential have the standard 15,000 lb. tow package, 2.5-inch drawbar hitch size, and a rear leaf spring quantity under 4. However, the best way to confirm is to contact your dealer with your truck's VIN number.

    • Front Differential Fluid
      Default Qty 3 - 1-liter bottles of conventional mineral Eurol Hypoid TGL 80W-90 GL-5 Gear Oil. High-performance replacement equivalent to the original recommended Ford F-250 front differential gear oil specs and part numbers XY-80W90-QL, WSP-M2C197-A (Front differential capacity 2.2-2.7 quarts or 2.08-2.6 liters).
    • Rear Differential Fluid
      Default Qty 4 - 1-liter bottles of fully synthetic Eurol MTF 75W-85 GL-5 Gear Oil. High-performance replacement equivalent to the original recommended Ford F-250 10.5 inch rear differential gear oil specs and part numbers XY-75W85-QL, WSS-M2C942-A. No additional limited slip friction modifier required for 10.5-inch rear differentials with an e-locker. Customers with a 10.5-inch differential without e-locker see differential fluid info notes below regarding friction modifier additive (10.5 rear differential capacity 3.1-3.4 liters or 3.3-3.6 quarts).
    • Transfer Case Fluid
      Default Qty 2 - 1-liter bottles of fully synthetic Eurol ATF 6700 Mercon LV. High-performance replacement equivalent to the original recommended Ford F-250 transfer case fluid specs and part numbers XT-10-QLVC, WSS-M2C938-A, Mercon LV. (Transfer case capacity 1.8 liters or 1.9 quarts).

    Differential fluid info and capacity notes:

    • The unique, fully synthetic formulation of Eurol MTF 75W-85 GL-5 Gear Oil makes it a truly unique product for the Ford F-250 Sterling 10.5-inch rear differential application. The fully synthetic GL-5 additive formulation incorporates the necessary additives for most limited slip differential applications and typically doesn’t require additional limited slip friction-modifier additives in LS differentials. We have used this gear oil without experiencing chatter in LS diffs. However, it is possible some may experience chatter. If you are experiencing some differential chatter, see the related items for a limited slip friction modifier to eliminate your chatter.
    • We also offer a fully synthetic 75W-90 GL-5 gear oil as an improved alternative option to the originally recommended 80W-90 GL-5 gear oil for the front differential. If you would prefer a fully synthetic gear oil over the 80W-90, please choose and adjust your gear oil type and quantity to your desires.
    • If you are choosing to replace the gear oil in only one of the differentials or only change the transfer case fluid, you can customize your bundle by excluding the front and/or rear gear oils. To do this, simply select "None" from the list of options before adding to cart.
