It includes the correct amount of 75W-90 transfer case fluid that meets BMW Synthetic OSP specification (SAF-XO 83222365987), 70W-80 or 75W-85 GL-5 rear differential gear oil that meets Hypoid Axle Oil G3 (83222413512) or G5 (83222471487) specs, and special rear axle oil for the BMW Hang-On Clutch that meets BMW HOC oil specification (83222413513). Differential fluid info and capacity notes:
- Based on our current understanding, pre-2020 facelift BMW X1 models require a 75W-85 GL-5 gear oil equivalent to BMW Hypoid Axle Oil G5 (83222471487). And post-2020 LCI facelift BMW X1 models use 70W-80 GL-5 gear oil equivalent to BMW Hypoid Axle Oil G3 (83222413512). If unsure which differential fluid your X1 requires, please confirm with a BMW dealer using your VIN.
