Ram Oil Change Light Reset (aka Ram Oil Life Light)
The below video shows how to reset the oil interval reminder light in 2019 and newer Ram 1500 models. After completing a Ram 1500 oil change, many wonder how to turn the oil light on the dash off. It is relatively easy to reset the Ram oil life light. In addition to all 2019 and newer Ram 1500 models, these oil reset instructions apply to all 2019 and newer Ram 2500, 3500, and 4500 models.
Depending on the exact trim package of your Ram 1500, 2500, 3500, or 4500, when resetting the oil light, there will be some slight visual differences in the instrument cluster display systems and steering wheel buttons, but the same steps will apply.

How To Step 1
Turn the ignition to ON, RUN position. Keep your foot off the brake pedal. Do not start the engine. This is done by pushing the start-stop button two times. The vehicle should now be in the RUN accessory position.
How To Step 2
Using the buttons on the left side of the steering wheel, access and SELECT the vehicle information system on the display.
How To Step 3
With the vehicle information system selected and displaying, scroll to the left or right to find and select the oil life reminder system.
How To Step 4
Hold down the OK button or Right Arrow (depending on the model) until the oil life light resets to 100% on the dash display. Your Ram oil change reminder light has now been reset.
How To Step 5
Turn the ignition accessory button OFF.
