How To Find Your Audi Engine Code

When shopping for replacement parts, especially timing belt components many newer Audi owners often become confused. What is my engine code and how can I find out? BLAU™fergnugen would like to help. Below you will find some suggestions and a few pictures that may help you confirm your engine code.

Your VIN (vehicle identification number) is one way to find the engine code. Some customers have contacted their dealer with their VIN and requested what engine code corresponds with their vehicle. Only an authorized Audi dealer can access the bill of material info, which reveals what engine was used in your car and the subsequent engine code. BLAU™fergnugen is an independent Audi parts specialist and doesn't have access to this bill of material info. We therefore cannot tell you what your engine is.
