The 5w30 kit offers a high quality yet economical RAVENOL HPS semi-synthetic for the more cost conscious individual, while yet maintaining Audi/VW 502 00 oil specifications as required for the 2.0T engine. What is the Best Audi Oil Change Interval? Our Blauparts oil change kits are designed for the factory recommended Audi oil change intervals. However depending on rough driving conditions or spirited driving styles Blauparts recommends an earlier oil change intervals or every 6 months which ever occurs first. Changing your Audi's oil is good preventative maintenance in an effort to minimize long term engine repair costs.
What Oil Type Should I Use? We suggest always using oils that specifically indicate an Audi/VW oil quality specification on the bottle (Example: VW 504 00/507 00). These oils have been created with your vehicles engine design and style in mind. By using approved specification oil you will greatly improve your vehicles mechanical longevity and performance. Many engines that use generic style engine oils will most likely have premature mechanical problems later in mileage (Example: premature oil consumption, worn engine internals, blown and worn turbochargers, prematurely plugged cranks ventilation and PCV systems, plugged diesel particulate filters and catalytic converters).
Audi Oil Changes and Warranty? Blauparts recommends that any vehicle under factory warranty use an engine oil with OEM approvals for the required oil specification.
What's the difference between an oil that “meets” an oil specification and an oil that has “OEM Approvals” or an approved specification? An oil that has an “approval” has received a formal letter of approval from the car manufacturer that the oil specified can be used in their engines whereas an oil that “meets” an oil specification has not received a formal letter of approval from the car manufacturer.
