Ravenol Coolant Antifreeze HTC Premix HOT 5L
Ravenol Coolant Antifreeze HTC Premix HOT 5L
Product Part Number:
Product Information:

RAVENOL HTC Hybrid Technology Coolant HOT CLIMATE -15°C is a ready to use, pre-diluted, all-season amine and phosphate-free mono-ethylene glycol based coolant with frost and rust protection for Mercedes, BMW, Opel, Saab, General Motors and VW engines. This product is formulated based on a proven inhibitor development by combining silicates with the organic additive technology OAT as an extended life coolant. The quality of an antifreeze is no longer just determined by the antifreeze effect (which automatically exists in an ethylene-glycol based product), but by the rust protection. That is why automakers subject antifreeze to lengthy corrosion and cavitations tests. RAVENOL HTC Hybrid Technology Coolant protects the cooling system from rust, frost, and in summer, from overheating.

    Technical Characteristics and Features:
  • Excellent for use in cast iron or aluminum engines, or alloys of the two metals, and aluminum and copper alloy radiators
  • Good reserve alkalinity
  • Protection from corrosion and cavitations
  • Prevents sediments and foaming in the cooling system
  • Compatible with elastomers used in automotive radiators

Application Notes:

RAVENOL HTC Hybrid Technology Coolant HOT CLIMATE -15°Cis a pre-diluted coolant with frost and rust protection for year-round use in automotive engines, especially those in warm climates. Even in summer coolant must contain enough antifreeze to ensure good corrosion and overheating protection. Instructions: Add to radiator to fill line.

Technical Information:
Blauparts recommends changing 'long life' Audi VW antifreeze every 3 to 4 years. Why? The combination of chemical additives contained in coolant, responsible for retaining alkalinity and inhibiting corrosion within the engine's cooling system, over time become depleted. Similar to oil, Audi VW coolant eventually breaks down, becomes weak, and "gets dirty." For maximum corrosion protection and prolonged engine life, flushing Audi VW coolant every 3 to 4 years (40,000 50,000 miles) is imperative. Thoroughly flushing your antifreeze is most convenient when done during timing belt replacement.
