RAVENOL oils also feature formal factory APPROVALS.

Mahle Original Oil Filters: Mahle is an Official OE oil filter manufacturer that has been supplying oil filters to the German automakers for years. What is the Best Maybach Oil Change Interval? Our Blauparts oil change kits are designed for the factory recommended Mercedes gasoline engine oil change intervals of up to 10,000-13,000 miles or 1 year, whichever occurs first. However depending on your driving style and conditions Blauparts recommends an earlier oil change interval such a 5,000-8,000 miles or once a year, whichever occurs first. An earlier Mercedes oil change interval is good preventative maintenance in an effort to minimize long term engine repair costs.

What Maybach Engine Oil Type Should I Use In My Engine? We suggest always using oils that specifically indicate a Mercedes oil quality specification on the bottle (Example: MB 229.5). MB 229.5 oils have been created with your vehicles engine design and style in mind. By using Mercedes approved specification oil you will greatly improve your vehicles mechanical longevity and performance. Many engines that use generic style engine oils will most likely have premature mechanical problems later in mileage (Example: premature oil consumption, worn engine internals, blown and worn turbochargers, prematurely plugged crank ventilation and PCV systems, plugged diesel particulate filters and catalytic converters).

Maybach Oil Changes and Warranty? Blauparts recommends that any Merceds vehicle under factory warranty should use an engine oil with formal Maybach factory approvals for the required oil specification.

What's the difference between a Mercedes/Mayabach motor oil that “meets” an oil specification and one that has “OEM Approval or Formal Factory Approval" ? An oil that has “OEM Approval or Formal Factory Approval” has received a formal letter of approval from the car manufacturer that the oil specified can be used in their engines. An oil that “meets” an oil specification has NOT received approval from the car manufacturer and should NOT be used in their engines.
