Squeak…squeak…time for a Vw Phaeton accessory belt change. Old Vw accessory belts (a.k.a. serpentine belts) can begin to slightly squeak near the end of their service life. Inspect them closely for any cracks. Aged Vw accessory / serpentine belts can begin to dry rot from heat and constant flexing.
