This Vw accessory belt drives the A/C.
Squeak...squeak...time for a Vw accessory belt change. Old Vw accessory belts (a.k.a. serpentine belts) can begin to slightly squeak near the end of their service life. Inspect them closely for any cracks. Aged Vw accessory / serpentine belts can begin to dry rot from heat and constant flexing.

| Vw serpentine belts should be changed every 30,000 - 50,000 miles. If your vehicle is approaching 100,000 miles we recommend replacing other serpentine belt related parts (i.e. tensioners, tensioning arm with pulley, springs, and sleeves).
