Vw Beetle ATF Automatic Transmission Fluid Filter Kit - 2002-05 w/ 6 Speed Tiptronic (4 Cylinder Engine)

Product Part Number:
F2A1018-B

Product Information:
Why change your VW Beetle ATF and transmission filter? Your VW Beetle transmission has hundreds of moving components. Over time these internal components mesh with one another, begin to wear, and create fine metallic particles. These fine metallic particles contaminate your Beetle transmission fluid and plug the transmission filter. This contamination affects your transmissions efficiency and long term performance, causing more friction and wear on transmission components. By having a regular transmission fluid and filter service interval for your VW Beetle, you will easily extend the life of your transmission. This important maintenance interval will support a long lasting well lubricated and protected transmission, minimizing chances of costly transmission repairs and problems.

More about Ravenol ATF: Ravenol transmission fluid is 100% genuine German. Manufactured and bottled in Germany since 1946! Ravenol mixes and bottles their own proprietary blend and brand of ATF transmission lubricants to the highest European O.E. quality standards.

In the US and Europe most oils that are offered in large retail superstores are not actually manufactured by the brand name shown on the bottle. These massive oil corporations are not making their own oil. With a focus on price above quality, many big oil brands outsource and have a generic refinery bottle the oil for them. This isn't the case with Ravenol fluids! Ravenol is unique in that they have TOTAL CONTROL over the QUALITY during their manufacturing process. Their lubricants are manufactured within their own refinery and factory in Germany to the highest European O.E. quality standards and have been awarded many O.E. APPROVALS for superior quality.

Technical Information:
The VW Beetle 4 cylinder is equipped with an 09G Aisin transmission. It is a 6-Speed tiptronic automatic transmission. The factory color of the ATF fluid is red.

We have observed the Aisin 6-Speed tiptronic transmissions ATF gets contaminated earlier then usual. The ATF has a dirty metallic tint as soon as 60,000 miles. We recommend changing the VW Beetle ATF fluid and transmission filter every 50,000 to minimize the chances of wear on critical transmission components.

Having a regular atf and filter service for your Volkswagen Beetle is great preventive maintenance. Having a regular service interval for your transmission is much more logical and inexpensive in the long term. Neglecting your transmission can lead to costly transmission repairs or even having to replace a transmission for several thousands.
