More about Ravenol Motor Oil: Ravenol oil is 100% genuine German. Manufactured and bottled in Germany since 1946! Ravenol mixes and bottles their own proprietary blend and brand of motor oil lubricants to the highest European O.E. quality standards.
In the US and Europe most oils that are offered in large retail superstores are not actually manufactured by the brand name shown on the bottle. These massive oil corporations are not making their own oil. With a focus on price above quality, many big oil brands outsource and have a generic refinery bottle the oil for them. This isnt the case with Ravenol fluids! Ravenol is unique in that they have TOTAL CONTROL over the QUALITY during their manufacturing process. Their lubricants are manufactured within their own refinery and factory in Germany to the highest European O.E. quality standards and have been awarded many O.E. APPROVALS for superior quality.
Note: There is a difference between an oil that meets an oil specification and an oil that has approvals or an approved specification. An oil that has an approval has received a formal letter of approval from the car manufacturer that the oil specified can be used in their engines, whereas an oil that meets an oil specification has not received a formal letter of approval from the car manufacturer.
Note: Blauparts recommends that any vehicle with factory warranty use an oil with formal factory approvals for the required oil specification.
