Blauparts is pleased to release a product update for all BLAU Audi S8 4.2L V8 timing belt kits!
As of March 1, 2014 all BLAU Audi S8 4.2L V8 timing belt kits have been equipped with Graf water pumps. These Graf water pumps offer a cast metal impeller and a heavy duty reinforced pulley.
All Graf Audi water pump component are pre-tested to evaluate durability, performance and reliability. The bearings undergo a durability test equivalent to the average water pump lifespan and are then inspected to assess integrity. The mechanical seals are tested in extreme coolant temperature conditions according to predefined coolant water pump cycles. The shape of the impellers are optimized thanks to the use of prototypes in which flow and performance tests are performed. After water pump assembly all water pumps undergo reliability tests using equipment able to determine true water pump performance and reliability. Graf water pumps are manufactured in Italy and are a direct O.E. supplier to many European automotive manufactures. Graf water pumps are engineered and designed to last as long as the genuine water pump you would receive from the dealer.

Note: Just changing the Audi timing belt isnt enough. Why? Most Audi timing belt failures can be caused by worn timing belt tensioners and idlers. By 70-80,000 miles most tensioners and idlers are actually near or at the end of their service life. Audi timing belt tensioners and idlers should always be replaced when installing a new timing belt.
